COVID-19 Notice

Preferred Elevator would like to assure our customers that we are taking all necessary steps to do our part in flattening the curve of COVID-19. We have developed a “No Family Contact” process for service, repairs and installations. Our Mechanic, who will be wearing a mask and gloves, will call you when we are at your front door and will discuss the issues or concerns you have with your unit. Our customer can then unlock the door, but there is no need to further greet the Mechanic or be present for the service, repair or installation. Please feel free to move to another part of the home while we are working. Final payment can be left for technician or can be done over the phone with our office.
We greatly appreciate your business during this time.

Sincerely,
Ken Gough

URGENT SAFETY NOTICE

Elevators installed with more than 4 inches of “gap space” between the hoistway doors and the elevator car doors can pose a serious safety risk. Children may become entrapped in the space and could be seriously injured or killed. This risk can be reduced with the proper installation of space guards at each floor.

Why Elevator Repair Matters

If your device isn’t working, be sure to call Preferred Elevator right away and arrange for one of our professionals to thoroughly inspect your residential elevator.

If anyone in your home lives with limited mobility, it’s crucial to ensure that they can move around with ease. Investing in a residential elevator makes it much easier to travel to each floor of your home. If your device isn’t working, be sure to call Preferred Elevator right away and arrange for one of our professionals to thoroughly inspect your residential elevator. Keep reading to find out why elevator repair matters.

Reduce Difficulties for Your Loved Ones

If a family member in your home relies on an elevator to carry out their daily functions, then you want to make sure that it’s always working correctly and safely. While it may be easy for you to move up and down the stairs, it may not be as easy for others. Even with help, it may be taxing for an individual to go up or down the steps. It will also limit a disabled person’s independence if they have to wait for someone to help them.

Things May Get Worse As Time Goes On

When one problem occurs, it’s likely to trigger other issues. It’s best to hire a professional to examine your residential elevator, see what’s wrong, and make repairs as soon as they can. Residential elevators or any mechanical device need professional service and maintenance, you should never attempt to fix it yourself.

Elevators Are For Everyone

A residential elevator is one of the best home improvement techniques. They are affordable, stylish, but most importantly, they improve a person’s life. Home elevators are not just for those that are disabled, elderly, and have limited mobility. Anyone who wants to add value to their home should invest in one. Any person that has a large house with many floors should invest in a home elevator as well. If you’re known for large gatherings, a residential elevator will provide a quick way for your guests to maneuver from floor to floor.
