COVID-19 Notice

Preferred Elevator would like to assure our customers that we are taking all necessary steps to do our part in flattening the curve of COVID-19. We have developed a “No Family Contact” process for service, repairs and installations. Our Mechanic, who will be wearing a mask and gloves, will call you when we are at your front door and will discuss the issues or concerns you have with your unit. Our customer can then unlock the door, but there is no need to further greet the Mechanic or be present for the service, repair or installation. Please feel free to move to another part of the home while we are working. Final payment can be left for technician or can be done over the phone with our office.
We greatly appreciate your business during this time.

Sincerely,
Ken Gough

URGENT SAFETY NOTICE

Elevators installed with more than 4 inches of “gap space” between the hoistway doors and the elevator car doors can pose a serious safety risk. Children may become entrapped in the space and could be seriously injured or killed. This risk can be reduced with the proper installation of space guards at each floor.

Why You Should Hire an Elevator Repair Company

Find out all of the reasons why you would want to hire an elevator repair company.

If you have a home elevator, then you’ll want it to function perfectly at all times. Unfortunately, problems are bound to arise at some point, and when they do, you’ll need to get those problems resolved. This is when it’s useful to hire an elevator repair company to handle whatever problems your elevator may be facing. But when exactly will it be best to bring in professional help? Find out all of the reasons why you would want to hire an elevator repair company.

Elevator Inspections are Mandatory

Sometimes, dealing with damage to your elevator means preventing that damage from happening in the first place. When you use the services of an elevator repair company, they can perform an inspection on your home elevator to ensure that all of its components are functioning as they should.

When you know your elevator is functioning properly, you won’t have to worry about anyone in the home using it. Professional elevator inspections allow you to address issues early on so that your elevator doesn’t get severely damaged.

Professionals Can Keep Your Elevator Safe

Elevators just aren’t safe if they aren’t professionally repaired. By hiring a professional elevator repair company, you can ensure that your elevator gets the high quality of attention it needs. Only professionals have the tools and expertise to make the repairs properly, and this helps to ensure that future problems with your elevator don’t pop up for a long time.
