COVID-19 Notice

Preferred Elevator would like to assure our customers that we are taking all necessary steps to do our part in flattening the curve of COVID-19. We have developed a “No Family Contact” process for service, repairs and installations. Our Mechanic, who will be wearing a mask and gloves, will call you when we are at your front door and will discuss the issues or concerns you have with your unit. Our customer can then unlock the door, but there is no need to further greet the Mechanic or be present for the service, repair or installation. Please feel free to move to another part of the home while we are working. Final payment can be left for technician or can be done over the phone with our office.
We greatly appreciate your business during this time.

Sincerely,
Ken Gough

URGENT SAFETY NOTICE

Elevators installed with more than 4 inches of “gap space” between the hoistway doors and the elevator car doors can pose a serious safety risk. Children may become entrapped in the space and could be seriously injured or killed. This risk can be reduced with the proper installation of space guards at each floor.

Why Investing in a Material Lift is a Sound Decision

Make transporting heavy objects a breeze with a material lift

We do not only specialize in residential lifts, but we are experts when it comes to installing lifts that could benefit your business as well. Dumbwaiters and material lifts are devices that could make a difference in how you run your business. Today we’ll shed some light on material lifts and their benefits. Purchasing one is a sound decision and a smart business move. Here’s why.

Protect Your Products

When your employees carry heavy objects, there is a high chance that they may drop the products. When a product drops, not only will there be damage to the item, but you’ll have to spend money replacing the product. Material lifts can ensure that your products remain damage-free. All your employees will have to do is learn how to work the lift. All it takes is your employee loading the box or container into the device, and then pressing a button so that it reaches its destination.

Material Lifts are Back Savers

Industrial workers know to lift with their knees to reduce back strain. However, over time, lifting heavy objects can still cause back damage. It’s unfortunate and inevitable. Not only is there a chance of back strain, but studies show that other areas, such as the ligaments, nerves, tendons, and other regions can show wear and tear over time. A material lift can help to lessen some of these impacts.

Enhance Efficiency

Carrying heavy materials for an entire work shift can cause fatigue. When employees are tired, this affects their productivity. They don’t work at the same rate. What’s excellent about lifts is that they never tire. They can carry on efficiently all-day, and it lessens the chance of your employees feeling burnt out.

Send Out More Products and Increase Your Revenue

In the case of the warehouse business, fast delivery means everything. Deliver more products at a much quicker rate and add to customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction means that they’ll be highly likely to buy from your company again and tell others about how fast the service was. When you have one less thing to worry about, you and your employees can focus on other ways to make your business more efficient.
