COVID-19 Notice

Preferred Elevator would like to assure our customers that we are taking all necessary steps to do our part in flattening the curve of COVID-19. We have developed a “No Family Contact” process for service, repairs and installations. Our Mechanic, who will be wearing a mask and gloves, will call you when we are at your front door and will discuss the issues or concerns you have with your unit. Our customer can then unlock the door, but there is no need to further greet the Mechanic or be present for the service, repair or installation. Please feel free to move to another part of the home while we are working. Final payment can be left for technician or can be done over the phone with our office.
We greatly appreciate your business during this time.

Sincerely,
Ken Gough

URGENT SAFETY NOTICE

Elevators installed with more than 4 inches of “gap space” between the hoistway doors and the elevator car doors can pose a serious safety risk. Children may become entrapped in the space and could be seriously injured or killed. This risk can be reduced with the proper installation of space guards at each floor.

The Benefits Of Using A Material Lift For Your Business

Material Lift

Discover the benefits of investing in a material lift.

As a business owner, you need to focus on the safety of your employees, especially if you work on a construction site or in a warehouse.  The last thing you want is for one of your employees to get injured trying to lift or move heavy items.  Luckily, there are simple ways to prevent injuries on work sites, such as investing in a material lift for your employees to use.  Discover a few of the benefits of using a material lift for your business.

Employee Safety

One of the major benefits of investing in a material lift is that it improves the safety of your job site.  Employees that work in manufacturing facilities or on construction sites are at a high risk of injury because part of their job requires lifting.  Using a material lift to carry and transport items allows your employees to avoid unnecessary physical labor, thus keeping them safer. Operating a material lift helps prevent your employees of injuring themselves and accidentally damaging goods.

Protects Products and Goods

When it comes to using a material lift, you are reducing the chances of damaging items on your job site.  If a job consists of carrying and transporting items, you want to make the task as easy and safe as possible.  . Using a material lift is an effective way to protect your products and goods from damage caused by dropping an item

Efficiency

Investing in a material lift for your business will improve the efficiency of day to day operation.  Having your employees transport heavy items will eventually tire them out, so they will do their job slower over time.  Using a material lift to transport items allows you to move more items at a faster rate and reduce injuries to your employees.
