COVID-19 Notice

Preferred Elevator would like to assure our customers that we are taking all necessary steps to do our part in flattening the curve of COVID-19. We have developed a “No Family Contact” process for service, repairs and installations. Our Mechanic, who will be wearing a mask and gloves, will call you when we are at your front door and will discuss the issues or concerns you have with your unit. Our customer can then unlock the door, but there is no need to further greet the Mechanic or be present for the service, repair or installation. Please feel free to move to another part of the home while we are working. Final payment can be left for technician or can be done over the phone with our office.
We greatly appreciate your business during this time.

Sincerely,
Ken Gough

URGENT SAFETY NOTICE

Elevators installed with more than 4 inches of “gap space” between the hoistway doors and the elevator car doors can pose a serious safety risk. Children may become entrapped in the space and could be seriously injured or killed. This risk can be reduced with the proper installation of space guards at each floor.

The Value of VRC Lifts

VRC Lifts Preferred Elevator

VRC lifts are very popular in warehouses

VRC lifts, or Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors, are highly valuable in the industrial realm. Material lifts benefit commercial establishments for many reasons. You can most certainly look forward to a more productive, safe, and cost-effective work environment. We partner with Custom Industrial, PFlow, and Matot to provide VRC Lifts to help your business become more efficient. Here is what’s so valuable about VRC lifts, in particular.

What is the Role of a VRC?

A VRC (vertical reciprocating conveyor) is an effective way to transport materials from one place to another. These vertical conveyors are typically ideal for warehouses, factories, distribution centers, or any multi-leveled buildings that are looking to resolve the issue of transporting heavy products from floor to floor. A VRC lift is flexible and highly versatile and can integrate easily into a building’s existing layout. If you’re a business owner with vertical movement challenges, here are a few more benefits of VRC lifts and what makes them so valuable.

You Can Customize VRC Lifts to Your Liking

The material lifts that we can offer can lift loads upward of 10,000 pounds, and can be customized to fit your specific occupational needs. We provide multiple loading configurations, and the VRC lifts can go up to 100 ft. in the air.

Fewer Restrictions

Elevator codes have specific restrictions because they transport people. Since material lifts transport materials, they can move at a higher rate and speed. Because VRC lifts can perform faster than your employees, your employees won’t feel as much fatigue.

A Happier, More Productive, and Safer Environment

When employees spend most of their work shift on their feet, it can lead to exhaustion. When you couple that with lifting heavy products, it’s enough to cause frustration, fatigue, and burnout. Material lifts make workplace injuries less of an issue. Fewer strains on the body and injuries mean that you’ll have happier employees who can perform at their best as well as a safer environment. Another benefit is less product damage. Quite frankly, we could go on and on about the benefits of VRC lifts. But we would prefer that you experience the advantages yourself. If you need a material lift, reach out to Preferred Elevator today.
