COVID-19 Notice

Preferred Elevator would like to assure our customers that we are taking all necessary steps to do our part in flattening the curve of COVID-19. We have developed a “No Family Contact” process for service, repairs and installations. Our Mechanic, who will be wearing a mask and gloves, will call you when we are at your front door and will discuss the issues or concerns you have with your unit. Our customer can then unlock the door, but there is no need to further greet the Mechanic or be present for the service, repair or installation. Please feel free to move to another part of the home while we are working. Final payment can be left for technician or can be done over the phone with our office.
We greatly appreciate your business during this time.

Sincerely,
Ken Gough

URGENT SAFETY NOTICE

Elevators installed with more than 4 inches of “gap space” between the hoistway doors and the elevator car doors can pose a serious safety risk. Children may become entrapped in the space and could be seriously injured or killed. This risk can be reduced with the proper installation of space guards at each floor.

Material Lifts Are An Excellent Investment

material lifts

Materials lifts are an excellent investment.

Materials lifts are an excellent investment. Why? Because they make life so much more comfortable and convenient for your employees. When your employees are happy, then your business can run smoothly. Today we’ll be sharing with you some of the top benefits of material lifts.

Material Lifts Help Protect Your Products and Goods

When workers have to carry heavy items, the chances of dropping them or damaging them are very probable. If you want to reduce the possibility of your products becoming damaged, then you should indeed have our trained and experienced mechanics install a material lift for your business. Your employees then only have to place the box or container into the lift and press a button. It’s that simple.

Material Lifts Take The Strain Away From Employees

The reality is that sometimes employees get hurt on the job, which is extremely unfortunate. Material lifts help to reduce the chances of worker injury. Studies show that manufacturing workers have a higher risk of disorders that affect the nerves, tendons, ligaments, blood vessels, and muscles. If you want to keep your employees satisfied, happy and safe, then you have to keep them comfortable. One of the greatest comforts is for any unnecessary strain to be taken away from the body.

Efficiency At Every Company Matters

Staring at a computer screen for a while without taking breaks can cause fatigue. Just imagine lifting heavy materials all day, non-stop. Lifting and carrying objects results in tiredness, fatigue, and reduced efficiency. Material lifts can take the burden off your team’s shoulders. People become tired, but lifts don’t. With this in mind, if you want your production line to be more efficient and productive, then a material lift is an excellent choice.

Enjoy the Increase in Revenue

More efficiency and productivity equals more revenue. If you own a warehouse that needs to produce a lot of products at any given time, it’s pertinent that customers receive their products quickly. Investing in the right equipment helps speed up production and shipping processes. The beauty behind this is that your customers can get their products on time (or earlier), and yet, it won’t lead to employee burnout.

Will material lifts benefit your business? Then, give us a call.
