COVID-19 Notice

Preferred Elevator would like to assure our customers that we are taking all necessary steps to do our part in flattening the curve of COVID-19. We have developed a “No Family Contact” process for service, repairs and installations. Our Mechanic, who will be wearing a mask and gloves, will call you when we are at your front door and will discuss the issues or concerns you have with your unit. Our customer can then unlock the door, but there is no need to further greet the Mechanic or be present for the service, repair or installation. Please feel free to move to another part of the home while we are working. Final payment can be left for technician or can be done over the phone with our office.
We greatly appreciate your business during this time.

Sincerely,
Ken Gough

URGENT SAFETY NOTICE

Elevators installed with more than 4 inches of “gap space” between the hoistway doors and the elevator car doors can pose a serious safety risk. Children may become entrapped in the space and could be seriously injured or killed. This risk can be reduced with the proper installation of space guards at each floor.

A look at Inclinator home elevators

Preferred Elevator partners with Inclinator and a few other manufacturers, such as Bruno, to ensure that our customers have the best of the best. You deserve options! Today we will detail some of the products that Inclinator manufactures and the benefits of these products. We will also share some history and background information about Inclinator.

Inclinator Home Elevators

Inclinator offers residential elevators with various cab styles, drive systems, gates and doors, finishes, and accessories, meaning that you will find an option that best suits your budget, style, and home. Whether your home has a lot of space or minimal room, our team will put in the time and effort to help you find the right home elevator. Ultimately, there are three primary factors when picking out a home elevator, which includes:

  1. Selecting Your Drive System
  2. Designing Your Cab Style
  3. Choosing Your Gates and Doors

The benefits of owning a residential elevator go far beyond easier navigation throughout your home. Yes, when a homeowner owns a residential elevator, it ensures that they can safely and independently travel between floors. However, home elevators increase home value. Plus, the beauty of a residential elevator rarely gets a spotlight. With the right design, features, and finishes, a home elevator can make a home seem more stately and elegant.

Inclinator Dumbwaiters

Dumbwaiters benefit homes and businesses alike. Waiters and waitresses don’t have to worry about dropping heavy dishes, costing their restaurant a lot of money. Homeowners don’t have to worry about back pain as they attempt to carry heavy detergent to the laundry room. Inclinator’s residential dumbwaiters can carry up to 120 pounds and travel up to four stops, all while matching your decor style! Inclinator’s commercial dumbwaiters can carry up to 300 pounds and travel up to six floors. The benefits of residential and commercial dumbwaiters, in a nutshell, is that they are:

  • Convenient
  • Cost-Effective
  • Efficient
  • Aids in Product Damage/Loss

More About Inclinator

Inclinator has been around for more than 100 years! Their origin dates back to 1923. Pennsylvania Cadillac dealer C.C. Crispen visited an ill friend and got the notion to create a movable seat that could transport people up and down stairways. Five years after this visit, Crispen engineered the Elevette®, the first electric home elevator, and the rest is history.
