COVID-19 Notice

Preferred Elevator would like to assure our customers that we are taking all necessary steps to do our part in flattening the curve of COVID-19. We have developed a “No Family Contact” process for service, repairs and installations. Our Mechanic, who will be wearing a mask and gloves, will call you when we are at your front door and will discuss the issues or concerns you have with your unit. Our customer can then unlock the door, but there is no need to further greet the Mechanic or be present for the service, repair or installation. Please feel free to move to another part of the home while we are working. Final payment can be left for technician or can be done over the phone with our office.
We greatly appreciate your business during this time.

Sincerely,
Ken Gough

URGENT SAFETY NOTICE

Elevators installed with more than 4 inches of “gap space” between the hoistway doors and the elevator car doors can pose a serious safety risk. Children may become entrapped in the space and could be seriously injured or killed. This risk can be reduced with the proper installation of space guards at each floor.

Gift Your Loved One a Home Elevator This Holiday Season

You can’t go wrong with home elevator installation!

Go all out this holiday season and gift your loved one a home elevator! The benefits of owning a home elevator are endless. Our devices help our clients to age in place and enjoy the comfort and convenience of staying in their homes for years to come. Home elevators are affordable, and financing is available. Continue reading to learn more about the benefits of residential elevators and learn some valuable gifting tips.

Residential Elevators Offer Long-Term Benefits

During this holiday season, you may find yourself stuck on finding gifts to give. There are so many options! The present that you pick should add value to a person’s life. There is no better way to let your loved one know that you value them than by helping them gain their independence back. A residential elevator is a long-term investment that can make moving from floor to floor more comfortable. Imagine your loved one being able to see life with new eyes because their life is now safer and easier. Carrying groceries or doing laundry will be easier to execute. Then, of course, you’ll earn bragging rights for years to come.

Residential Elevators Can Add an Elegant Touch, But They’re Affordable

Initially, a home elevator and wealth were synonymous. Fast forward decades later, and you’ll find that owning a home elevator is not uncommon. They are affordable, but you don’t have to skimp out on style or elegance. If your loved one appreciates luxurious aesthetics, then you’re in luck! Because residential elevators are custom-made, they can blend into any homeowner’s existing architecture seamlessly. We do offer a variety of cab styles, gates, and doors.

How to Go About Gifting a Home Elevator

You need your loved one’s permission. The home elevator process and installation can take a few months. Therefore, you should tell the recipient well in advance to make sure that this fits into their schedule. This gift is not the kind of present that you spring on anyone because after all, this process involves construction. Take the time to educate your loved one about home elevators and their benefits. Let them know how one could change their life. You may also want to think about making this a family effort. Home elevators are already affordable but splitting the cost will save you even more money.
