URGENT SAFETY NOTICE

Elevators installed with more than 4 inches of “gap space” between the hoistway doors and the elevator car doors can pose a serious safety risk. Children may become entrapped in the space and could be seriously injured or killed. This risk can be reduced with the proper installation of space guards at each floor.

Why You Want to Install a Home Elevator

Why You Want to Install a Home Elevator

Today, we’re going to give you reasons why a home elevator would be a great investment.

There are a lot of technological advancements that have been made to make living at home more comfortable. One relatively new feature you can add is a home elevator. Back in the day, elevators were thought to be features limited to commercial properties, but they are now used by many people within their own homes. You may be wondering: when would I consider getting a home elevator? Today, we’re going to give you reasons why a home elevator would be a great investment.

They Save Space in Your House

This may come as a surprise, but a home elevator opens up more space around your house. When compared to a staircase, elevators require less room to be installed and, depending on what kind of elevator you install, it could even get built outside of your home’s wall, which could give residents an entry point to each level of the house.

A Home Elevator Has More Functionality Than Stairs

Stairs are handy for helping people access the different levels of a house, but it’s a different story whenever you have items you need moved from one floor to another. Moving groceries, laundry, and other items up and down your stairs can be a physically taxing ordeal.

By installing a home elevator, moving these items becomes much easier. This way, you won’t be physically burdened whenever something needs to be moved. You also don’t have the risk of tripping while walking up your staircase.

Home Elevators are Stylish

A home elevator can be more than functional; it can also be stylish. There are many types from which to choose, so you can find an elevator that works best with your home’s aesthetic. If you aren’t sure what kind of home elevator to get, you can always get advice from a professional elevator installation company.
