COVID-19 Notice

Preferred Elevator would like to assure our customers that we are taking all necessary steps to do our part in flattening the curve of COVID-19. We have developed a “No Family Contact” process for service, repairs and installations. Our Mechanic, who will be wearing a mask and gloves, will call you when we are at your front door and will discuss the issues or concerns you have with your unit. Our customer can then unlock the door, but there is no need to further greet the Mechanic or be present for the service, repair or installation. Please feel free to move to another part of the home while we are working. Final payment can be left for technician or can be done over the phone with our office.
We greatly appreciate your business during this time.

Sincerely,
Ken Gough

URGENT SAFETY NOTICE

Elevators installed with more than 4 inches of “gap space” between the hoistway doors and the elevator car doors can pose a serious safety risk. Children may become entrapped in the space and could be seriously injured or killed. This risk can be reduced with the proper installation of space guards at each floor.

Why You Want an Elevator Professional

Why You Want an Elevator Professional

Here are some excellent reasons why you definitely want to have an elevator professional to keep your building’s elevator running smoothly throughout the years.

For the most part, building managers will always need to consult professionals to make sure that specialized aspects of the building are in proper working order. In fact, when your building has an elevator it becomes increasingly important to consult a professional to make sure that things are working effectively and efficiently. The reality is, maintaining safe and reliable elevators is always an essential component of any building manager’s job. Ultimately, elevators are constantly used which means that they’ll end up requiring a lot of maintenance over time. Here are some excellent reasons why you definitely want to have an elevator professional to keep your building’s elevator running smoothly throughout the years.

Saving Plenty Of Time And Money

There is no denying that elevators will eventually require repairs after a significant amount of use. In fact, over time, elevators tend to undergo a significant amount of wear and tear. The reality is, elevators and escalators are both frequently used in any type of commercial building which is precisely why they are usually quite costly to repair.. Ultimately, when you have an elevator professional servicing the unit on a regular basis, then it can end up saving you time and money down the line because little elevator issues will be dealt with immediately.

Staying Focused On Core Business Needs

When it comes to business owners and building managers, there is a pressure to make sure everything is running smoothly — from a business perspective as well as a building standpoint. In fact, hiring an elevator professional will surely free up some much needed time for business owners and building managers so they can truly focus on the tasks and duties that they excel at. The reality is, when you can delegate the task of managing your elevator and keeping it running smoothly to a professional — who has the expertise and experience needed to get the job done correctly — it’ll surely provide you with a lot less that you have to worry about. Ultimately, building managers will always still have the final say but they can oversee the overall project without being too hands on.
