COVID-19 Notice

Preferred Elevator would like to assure our customers that we are taking all necessary steps to do our part in flattening the curve of COVID-19. We have developed a “No Family Contact” process for service, repairs and installations. Our Mechanic, who will be wearing a mask and gloves, will call you when we are at your front door and will discuss the issues or concerns you have with your unit. Our customer can then unlock the door, but there is no need to further greet the Mechanic or be present for the service, repair or installation. Please feel free to move to another part of the home while we are working. Final payment can be left for technician or can be done over the phone with our office.
We greatly appreciate your business during this time.

Sincerely,
Ken Gough

URGENT SAFETY NOTICE

Elevators installed with more than 4 inches of “gap space” between the hoistway doors and the elevator car doors can pose a serious safety risk. Children may become entrapped in the space and could be seriously injured or killed. This risk can be reduced with the proper installation of space guards at each floor.

Discover which service best meets your needs.

There may come a time in a person’s life where they need assistance traveling around their home.  Whether you have family members that have mobility issues or you are bound to a wheelchair, there are a variety of options to help you get around your home.  You should not let a staircase stop you from traveling around your own home.  Preferred Elevator offers several services, including elevators and stairlifts, which are sure to meet your needs.  Discover which mobility service is the right match for you and your family.

Residential Elevator

If you have several people with mobility issues that come through your home and your space allows it, you should consider installing an elevator.  You can design your elevator to meet all your needs so it can be as simple or intricate as you want.  A residential elevator is the perfect option for anyone that has difficulty traveling up or down a staircase.  Also, if you have issues transporting items throughout your home, then an elevator is a wise option.

Stairlift

If you have a mobility issue that prevents you from accessing other floors in your home on a daily basis, then a stairlift is a wise investment.  A stairlift from Preferred Elevator is simple to install, operate and maintain throughout its life.  There are a variety of stairlift options so you can install one on your winding or straight staircase!

Wheelchair Lift

You shouldn’t let your wheelchair prevent you from traveling around your property.  If you or a loved one uses a wheelchair for mobility reasons, then you should consider installing a wheelchair lift at your home.  Preferred Elevator can install a lift outside or inside your home, so you will never have to worry about accessing your residence!
