COVID-19 Notice

Preferred Elevator would like to assure our customers that we are taking all necessary steps to do our part in flattening the curve of COVID-19. We have developed a “No Family Contact” process for service, repairs and installations. Our Mechanic, who will be wearing a mask and gloves, will call you when we are at your front door and will discuss the issues or concerns you have with your unit. Our customer can then unlock the door, but there is no need to further greet the Mechanic or be present for the service, repair or installation. Please feel free to move to another part of the home while we are working. Final payment can be left for technician or can be done over the phone with our office.
We greatly appreciate your business during this time.

Sincerely,
Ken Gough

URGENT SAFETY NOTICE

Elevators installed with more than 4 inches of “gap space” between the hoistway doors and the elevator car doors can pose a serious safety risk. Children may become entrapped in the space and could be seriously injured or killed. This risk can be reduced with the proper installation of space guards at each floor.

Purchasing a Residential Elevator Should Be One of Your New Year’s Resolutions

If traveling up and down your stairs has become straining, then a residential elevator should indeed be on your New Year’s resolution list

Purchasing a residential elevator should be one of your New Year’s resolutions. We know that you probably have many, like many other people around the world. These New Year’s resolutions may include changing your diet habits, starting a new hobby, saving more money, or traveling to a new place. However, if you have trouble moving from floor to floor in your home, then purchasing a residential elevator should be on the top of your list, and here’s why.

Residential Elevators Give You A Sense of Control

People often don’t think about it, overlook it, or take it for granted, but being able to move around your home safely with ease is comforting and convenient. There is nothing wrong with asking for help. We all need help with different aspects of our lives. But if you’re in a situation where your loved ones are busy in their lives, work a lot, or you’re someone who enjoys doing things for themselves, then a residential elevator gives you a sense of control and freedom. Transporting groceries or laundry or other items from floor to floor puts less of a strain on the body when you have a residential elevator in your home.

Residential Elevators Help You Age in Place

What’s better than being able to stay in the beautiful oasis that you created? The reality is that living in assisted living facilities is expensive, and the costs never end. A residential elevator is a one-time purchase, and if you need to finance it, the payments will end when you pay off the loan. It’s a device that you can have for a lifetime and will help you stay in your beautiful home. An old proverb states that “home is where the heart is,” and it’s where you should be too!

Residential Elevators Help Improve Your Quality of Life

Not being able to get from one place to another is frustrating, especially when it’s your own home. Being able to move from one part of your home to another like once before, gives a significant confidence boost. Limited mobility affects people in different ways, physically, emotionally and psychologically. Therefore, that’s why we dedicate ourselves to providing expert elevator installation. Our mission is for our lifts to change lives.

If you’re thinking heavily about the idea of elevator installation, but you’ve been on the fence, then give us a call. We can answer any and every question that you may have.
