COVID-19 Notice

Preferred Elevator would like to assure our customers that we are taking all necessary steps to do our part in flattening the curve of COVID-19. We have developed a “No Family Contact” process for service, repairs and installations. Our Mechanic, who will be wearing a mask and gloves, will call you when we are at your front door and will discuss the issues or concerns you have with your unit. Our customer can then unlock the door, but there is no need to further greet the Mechanic or be present for the service, repair or installation. Please feel free to move to another part of the home while we are working. Final payment can be left for technician or can be done over the phone with our office.
We greatly appreciate your business during this time.

Sincerely,
Ken Gough

URGENT SAFETY NOTICE

Elevators installed with more than 4 inches of “gap space” between the hoistway doors and the elevator car doors can pose a serious safety risk. Children may become entrapped in the space and could be seriously injured or killed. This risk can be reduced with the proper installation of space guards at each floor.

How a Stairlift Can Enhance Your Life

How a Stairlift Can Enhance Your Life Preferred Elevator

A stairlift is an ideal solution that can help put your life back on track

A stairlift is just the thing you need if you want to keep your independence. Depending on your mobility range, home modifications can help you get things done on your own time without needing extra assistance. Has walking up and down your stairs become an inconvenience or a painful hurdle? A stairlift is an ideal solution that can help put your life back on track, and we’ll explain why. Here is how a stairlift can enhance your life.

More Freedom With a Stairlift

There’s nothing like having familial support. Our families can help us through difficult and challenging times. So can our friends. However, it may not be possible for our loved ones to be there with us every second of the day. Stairlifts give homeowners the freedom and independence they need to move around without depending on a loved one.

A Stairlift Is Safe

A stairlift works to transport you from floor to floor safely. It has many safety features and a backup battery if there is ever a power outage. If there is an object in the way, stairlifts won’t move until the item is cleared from the path. When you operate a stairlift, you are in complete control. There is no chance that you’ll fall, and stairlifts are comfortable and sturdy enough to lift up to 400 pounds. The seat size is generous, and there are various footrest options to ensure your ultimate comfort.

Less Pain

The reality is that as we age, the body operates differently. The aging process is a natural, inevitable part of life. Reduced mobility isn’t uncommon. If traveling up and down the stairs isn’t as easy as it used to be, you’re not alone. Many people are sharing the same experience as you. But the good news is that you can make your life easier by adding simple modifications to your home, such as stairlifts. Home modifications alleviate some stress on the joints. They also help you age in place, get back to your routine, and experience less pain.

Affordability

Because Bruno offers TimePayment financing, you can make easy online payments to finance your stairlift. There are other various resources that you can use to your advantage as well, such as:

  • State Grants
  • Charitable Funds
  • Community Organizations

Aging in place is invaluable. You don’t have to sacrifice living in your beloved home. Make the call to Preferred Elevator today!
