COVID-19 Notice

Preferred Elevator would like to assure our customers that we are taking all necessary steps to do our part in flattening the curve of COVID-19. We have developed a “No Family Contact” process for service, repairs and installations. Our Mechanic, who will be wearing a mask and gloves, will call you when we are at your front door and will discuss the issues or concerns you have with your unit. Our customer can then unlock the door, but there is no need to further greet the Mechanic or be present for the service, repair or installation. Please feel free to move to another part of the home while we are working. Final payment can be left for technician or can be done over the phone with our office.
We greatly appreciate your business during this time.

Sincerely,
Ken Gough

URGENT SAFETY NOTICE

Elevators installed with more than 4 inches of “gap space” between the hoistway doors and the elevator car doors can pose a serious safety risk. Children may become entrapped in the space and could be seriously injured or killed. This risk can be reduced with the proper installation of space guards at each floor.

3 Benefits Of Investing In A Material Lift

Material Lift

Discover the benefits of investing in a material lift.

As a business owner, you want your employees to be safe at all times while working.  If you handle heavy or hazardous materials, then the safety of your workers could be in jeopardy.  You should consider installing a material lift on site so that transporting cargo can be easier, safer and more efficient for everyone involved.  Discover a few of the benefits of using a material lift at your place of business.

Efficiency

One of the major benefits of using a material lift is that it creates an efficient way of transporting items without risk of injury.  If you work in the hospitality industry, you most likely work in a fast-paced environment where staff and guests are constantly relying on you.  So, you need to be able to transport items through the build in a quick manner without getting in the way of other. A material lift is a great way to transport many different items quickly.

Safety

When it comes to investing in a material lift, you are also investing in the safety of your employees.  Whether you work in a factory or a hospital, you probably come in contact with heavy cargo that you need to transport.  You certainly don’t want one of your employees injuring themselves trying to lift a heavy item. A material lift does all the hard work for you and your employees and keeps everyone safe.  If you work in an environment that handles hazardous materials, a material lift can transport them for you, so you do not have to risk spills or potential injury

Strength and Durability

All of our material lifts are constructed to meet industry regulations, so you are guaranteed that your lift is made to last.  Our lifts are manufactured to withstand extremely heavy items and everyday wear and tear.
