COVID-19 Notice

Preferred Elevator would like to assure our customers that we are taking all necessary steps to do our part in flattening the curve of COVID-19. We have developed a “No Family Contact” process for service, repairs and installations. Our Mechanic, who will be wearing a mask and gloves, will call you when we are at your front door and will discuss the issues or concerns you have with your unit. Our customer can then unlock the door, but there is no need to further greet the Mechanic or be present for the service, repair or installation. Please feel free to move to another part of the home while we are working. Final payment can be left for technician or can be done over the phone with our office.
We greatly appreciate your business during this time.

Sincerely,
Ken Gough

URGENT SAFETY NOTICE

Elevators installed with more than 4 inches of “gap space” between the hoistway doors and the elevator car doors can pose a serious safety risk. Children may become entrapped in the space and could be seriously injured or killed. This risk can be reduced with the proper installation of space guards at each floor.

Discover the benefits of investing in a home elevator.

There might come a time in your life where you will need assistance traveling around your home.  One of most effective ways to transport you around your property is to invest in an elevator.  Just like one in an office building, a residential elevator can take you to every floor in your home easily.  The last thing you want to do is injure yourselfwalking up a staircase if you are suffering from a mobility issue.  Discover a few of the benefits of installing an elevator inside your home.

Safety and Security

One of the major benefits of investing in a residential elevator is that it will increase the safety and security of your family and guests.  If you or a loved one has trouble walking, then steps are a safety hazard. Riding an elevator to various floors in your home reduces the chances of any injury occurring.  Now anyone that is elderly or has a disability can travel around your home safely.

Functionality

When it comes to owning an elevator, it will make daily tasks around your home easier.  Riding an elevator in your home allows you to transport groceries and other items easily, with no strain to you back and body.  With a residential elevator, you do not have to spend the time and energy carrying heavy items up one or more flights of stairs.  Overall, it increases the functionality of your home.

Wise Investment

Installing an elevator in your home is a wise investment that you will benefit from in the future.  Having a home elevator has a good chance of increasing your property value. Once you are ready to put your home on the market, your elevator will entice potential homeowners.  Make sure to make your home elevator a selling point when you put your property on the market.
